Knowledge Management Capacity and Innovation Performance

Abstract:
Innovation has been one of the important competitive advantages of organisations. Therefore, the organisations try to develop their innovation performance to preserve their competitive positions. The aim of this paper is to study the effect of knowledge on innovation performance of the organisation. As a result, the influence of three main stages of knowledge management process on two types of organisational innovations was investigated. The community of this research includes 270 of managers and experts in the studied organisation that 150 of them were chosen for the research. The research results show that knowledge management has a positive relationship with both sides of the organisational innovation and implementing knowledge management helps the development of innovation in the security organisations. Some recommendations are presented to the managers and researchers based on these principles.
