Evaluation of the Four-Stage Model of Decision-Making "Sara" in Law Enforcement Prevention (Case Study: Tehran's Police Station)

The police organizations to make decisions and solve the security problems of the citizens of the scientific method and the four-step model called "Sara" is used. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the heads of police station in Tehran's decision-making process in the area of prevention, law enforcement, using the above model. The aim of the present study, functional and descriptive nature and conduct of the survey. Data collected through questionnaires distributed among 82 large heads of Kalantari in Tehran are all done. Through group interviews and expert opinions to determine the validity and reliability using Cronbach's alpha (867/0) were determined. The results showed that the heads of policce station in Tehran in the face of citizen security issues, the four-step process for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating response to their decisions, in which the diagnosis is "experience and information service, patrol officers report and comment on information hot spot points, the geography of crime and policing events experts "to analyze the issue of" statistics of frequency, time, location and geography of crime, job experiences, interviews with offenders and Victims of Crime.
