The Effects of Urban Development on Traffic Problems (The Case Study of District 22 of Tehran)

Abstract:
Currently construction is being carried out extensively in the area 22 of Tehran. And it seems that in the following years will continue. The lake Persian Gulf as one of the tourist sites this area is located. It seems that with the residential units under construction in the area And expanding lake, created problems for the region .Including the problem of parking and Lack of public transport system can be noted .In this study, a survey of people and traffic experts, their opinion about the appropriateness of building regulations was asked to ease traffic problems .As well as their opinions about the problem of parking and public transport system now and in the coming years asked. The results showed that the constructions of the supervisions are not sufficient to resolve the issue. It was also found that there is not parking problems already in the area But in the coming years there will be residential units under construction. Public transport systems in the region are not suitable. There commendations to the relevant authorities to deal with the problems presented.
