A study on the relationship between citizenship behavior with social order (case study: youth between 20-30 years old in shahrekord)

Social order and paying attention to different dimensions of citizens' lifes are an important and fundamental issue in modern society. Although it has different and important dimensions in modern life but observing actions by citizens is a vital issue for survival of society. Present article tries to study relationship between citizenship behavior with tendency of citizens to social order. The present article is descriptive, correlational and applied.In order to measure variables two questionnaires of citizenship behavior and tendency to social order were used. Validity and reliability were higher than 75/. measured by cronbach alpha for two questionnaires. 105 people among youth between 20-30 years old were selected randomly as a sample. Acquired data was analyzed by t-test and correlation coefficient by SPSS software. Research results show that different dimensions of citizenship behavior including rules , punctuality, personal hygiene, traffic rules, psychological growth, social action, health care and tendency to social order is higher than average. Relationship between different dimensions of citizenship with social order is confirmed. In general results showed that the more citizens consider citizenship behavior ,tendency to social order increases. Among dimensions of citizenship behaviour, the highest average is related to rules , punctuality , personal hygiene and environment which are important.as a result all aspects of citizenship behavior shoud be considered in programs related to social order .
