UAV's Capabilities in Future Warfare

The future warfare will mainly change from human–centric to equipment-centric ones and vital air equipment in particular. Regardless of the geographical concerns, the future warfare would be different from previous wars from the view points of the motivation, nature, domain, duration, equipment and technologies. Consequently, the war methods and the way of applying the armed forces change. UAVs are among the equipment which enacted their potential capabilities along with their manned counterparts.Despite of the manned aircrafts capabilities, they face concerns including crash, destruction, and human–equipment hurts in high risk operations. On the other hand, they are huge and so easily detected and intercepted by the radars, which in turn reduces the surprise role in air operations. Therefore, the military and defense industries’ researchers decided to use modern strategic equipments to overcome this problem. UAVs are characterized by smaller size, higher stealth quality and more diverse operational capabilities compared to the manned aircrafts. Applying UAVs in the future warfare enhances the forces authority .They would be the most efficient system in the world and especially in Iran’s arm forces. Data collection using UVAs is one of the future scenarios in some countries, because it provides them easily with the valuable information at minimum time and with the least cost and losses.
