The Position and Importance of Assembly of Experts of the Leadership in the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran

The current article tries to review people''s role in the constitution of the Islamic republic of Iran and believes that in the constitution¡ people''s right to vote has been ontologically recognized and it has been epistemologically secured. It has been socially implemented to elect and supervise the leader. By asserting the purpose of the establishment of Assembly of Experts of the Leadership¡ this article finds that¡ first¡ the assembly makes this approach organized and institutionalizes it. Second¡ this assembly takes the responsibility to calm the society following a crisis caused by the demise¡ resignation or disposition of the leader and third¡ explains its unparalleled role and position.
