Comparison of the Preliminaries of Prayer in Islam and Zoroastrianism

Abstract:

In Zoroaster religion everyone has to say prayer five times per a day. In either of religions, there are some preliminaries that are essential every prayer before saying prayer. This research is questing the praying’s preliminaries for these faith. Also, the similarities and differences were studied. It was cleared that the preliminaries root consist of impeccability, superficial and inner’s prayer’s purity, and all the belongings such as purity of the place and the prayer’s costume are common. Although there are differences between them. In Zoroaster religion, there must be a special costume for the prayer, but in Islam this issue hasn’t been cleared. A mask is using for the prayer near the fire in Zoroaster religion but this custom doesn’t exist in Islam. In Zoroaster, kiblah is right and glory however in Islam is Kaaba. Islam has Adhan an adduction as an introduction for recommended pray, but there is not such a thing in Zoroaster.
