Landslide Hazard Zonation Using SMCE Method and AHP Technic (Case Study: Hafshejan Watershed, Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari)

One of the slopping processes which create much damage in the world and many location of Iran is Landslide phenomenon. Preparing landslide susceptibility map provides the possibility to recognize susceptible areas and consider them in the environmental programs. Purpose of this research is mapping susceptibility of landslide in Hafshejan watershed in Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari province using Spatial Multi Criteria Evaluation (SMCE) method via geographic information system (GIS) and ILWIS software and AHP technic .therefore, first using occurred landslides location, comparative studies, And other scholars results, determinate eight informational layers for this research. Then designed the tree of factors and restrictions in ILWIS software. All of layers be standardization and relevant factors be evaluation and weighting using AHP model. Upshot model and landslide hazard zonation map prepare for study area. Result shows that from all effective factors, distance from road, distance from fault and distance from stream, respectively, with weights 0.4047, 0.2239 and 0.1302 have been identified as the most important factors in the development of landslide in study area. According to presented model, about 1.32 percent of watershed area (1013900 square meters) have the occurrence of very high risk and 9 percent (6909800 square meters) have occurrence of high risk. The results obtaining accuracy evaluation of the presented model, shows ascendant trend of landslide index from very low hazard zone to very much hazard zone and is demonstrator of sufficient precision for this model.
