The Validity of Reason in the System of Foundationalist; Clarification and Evaluate

Foundationalism is confronted with difficulties that is, how one can evaluate human understanding by his knowledge and his rational thought by the Reason? Due to the problem, the validity of the reason should be proven through itself which is an obvious vicious circle. Having explanted this problem, to the paper will demonstrate that the difficulty refers to the argument itself and has not been based on any self- evident propositions or true logical evidence. The aim of argument in this paper is that to demonstrate that one can respond these kinds of skepticism in two ways: individual and general responses. In addition, , inspiring from Muslim philosophers, there are also other response some of which are counterexample-based and solution-focused, as well as the responses which are merely basic on man’s intuitive.
