Determining the Role of Communication Variables in Predicting Emotional Divorce

This study aimed to analyze and identify the role of communication variables in predicting emotional divorce in Hamedan city. The survey method was used in this research. Total population of the research involves all Hamedan married females from which 200 sample were selected randomly and filled the questionnaires up. To conduct this study, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to measure emotional divorce and to evaluate the communication variables (communication ability, conflict resolution ability, and responsibility) some existing questionnaires were used. The findings show that 0.48 percent of emotional divorce can be anticipated by communication ability, conflict resolution ability, and responsibility. It means that by decreasing the communication ability, conflict resolution ability, and responsibility, the range of emotional divorce increases. So, being capable in communication abilities could be effective in reducing emotional divorce.
