Designing a Model to Achieving Effective Organizational Communications Based on Intra/Interpersonal Communication Competencies

Regarding to the important role of effective communications in achieving the goals of the organization, Study of communication competencies that are necessary for it also is important. The purpose of this research is to design a model to achieving effective organizational communications based on Intra/Interpersonal Communication Competencies. This research is an applied research in its objective and descriptive-analytical method in its method of doing. The statistical population of this research is a group of academic experts; that 17 peoples of them by using Purposive and snowball sampling were selected as samples. For collecting data and information, the library method and expert opinion are used. Also, to assess the validity and reliability of the research tool, the triangulation method is used. To analyze the data and information Interpretive Structural Modeling methods are used. The results of this research led to identification of important dimensions of intrapersonal and interpersonal communication competencies that encourage effective organizational communications and designing their interpretive structural model. the results showed that the components of intrapersonal and interpersonal communication competencies at different levels have effect together, and changes in the quality of each component cause changes in quality of other components at same level as well as the next levels, and in turn cause changes in the quality of the organizational relationships. Finally, after interpreting the model, analyzing its levels; suggestions for the progress of Intra/Interpersonal Communication at organizations were presented.
