Abstract:
Man uses several ways to communicate with his or her surroundings, one of which is the use of visual power. The mechanism of Gestalt psychology in the field of visual perception is very influential, because the human nervous system chooses the simplest design in every situation, and this can be seen in the thought and design of the Iranian bath. With that analysis, the structure of the entire bathroom can be based on a particular theory. Gestalt's rules are directly influenced by how space is placed, the shape of the perimeter and its dimensions, the proportion of empty and empty space, and the type of space composition. Other researchers have analyzed the structure of the plan and the baths in terms of climate conditions and the type of bath and its comparison with different periods of the Iranian architecture, but so far from this perspective, the study of the Iranian bath has not been studied. In this research, the Qiblah (khanoom)bath, a building that has been kept by Edgars since the Safavid era and is still offering services to the people, is the basis of the study, and the amount of Gestalt rules in this bathroom has been reviewed. The research method in this research is descriptive-analytic with qualitative approach. It is also the overall goal of the research is the type of application and is seeking to determine the presence of the rules of the gestalt in this bath. This article analyzes the structure of the Qibla bath space based on library and field studies. First, research data are extracted in the space structure of the building, and then analyzes are done according to the rules of the gestalt on the data collected. The research data are based on a field -library study and an interview with the professors of Islamic architecture courses and building restoration professors. The sampling method is specificand and its purpose is to analyze the spatial structure of the qibla bath (lady) based on the Gestalt rules. The tools of this research in the collection of library data, are articles, oral sources, journals , books and documents of the Cultural Heritage Organization, and in the field of collecting field data is visual measurement tools and documentation. And in the data analysis session, graphical drawing tools are used .By examining the rules of the Geshtal doctrine on the plan and the body of the Qibla bath, according to the analysis, some of the rules in the Qibla bath are obscure (such as the principles of experience and shape and context), and it is also observed that the principle of symmetry is seen more than the rest of the rules , The rest of the principles and rules are of paramount importance and their application together form a strong visual form, and therefore integrated visual perception has been created. In fact, Gestalt describes the relationships between brain power and cognitive experiences. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that the Gestalt laws had a significant effect on the physical and spatial structure of the Qibla bath.
