Mahdism in Safavid era historiography

The emergence of the Safavids created widespread changes in cultural issues, including Iranian historiography, and brought new issues into this arena and transformed in some matters. The issue of Mahdism was one of the most important issues that the historians considered in this period. The main issue of the present research is that it will attempt to use a library of data and analysis to provide a clear indication of the prophecy and expectation of Imam Mahdi (AS) in the historiography of this course. It seems that a meaningful connection between the idea of the Safavids for the rule of Mahdavi was emphasized by the historians of this period, which could in some way reflect the historian's efforts to legitimize more the rule of this family in this era of Iran. The study of the relationship between these variables is one of the other issues considered in this research.
