Investigating the Causes of Protesters' Referral to Units for Investigating Driving Violations
The units for driving offenses are set up in accordance with Article 5 of the Law on driving offenses. In the study city of Tehran, approximately 1,200 lawsuits are filed in regard to driving offenders that cost much and leads to many problems as people frequent the units said for filing their protests. The purpose of this research is to investigate the causes of frequent visits of protesters to the units for protests against traffic violations (Tehran city case study). Human error, inadequate economic status of visitors, etc. are among the issues considered in this research. This study was conducted using quantitative survey method, questionnaire technique and sample size of 340 people (40 experts, 300 visitors). At descriptive statistics level, data analysis was performed in the form of frequency distribution tables and in inferential statistics using one-sample t-test. Based on findings and research findings, there is a relationship between organizational tolerance, regulatory factors, financial status of clients, human factor errors, cultural factors, and the frequency of visiotrs' appearances. It is noteworthy that 70% of experts and about 60% of clients believe that there is a high correlation between human error factor and frequency of visits, as well as 50% of experts and 76% of respondents refer to the relationship between economic situation and frequency of referrals.
