Three Shaikhs Licensed by Allāmah Mar‘ashī Najafī

In this article, three shaikhs licensed by Āyatullah Sayyid Shahāb al-Dīn Mar‘ashī Najafī are introduced who are remained less well-known so far: first, Mullā Raḥmatullāh Kirmānī. He was a principled, literary jurist who moved to Tehran due to opposing the Constitution movement. The author of the book “the gloss of the lamentations of Baḥr al-‘Ulūm” has introduced him and has discussed his relation to the book Miftāḥ al- Jinān. Second is Mīrzā Maḥmūd Aharī Najafī who had a place in ethics in addition to the jurisprudence and principles. Third is Mullā Maḥmūd Bīgdilī Kāshānī (d. 1350 AH) who has written a book about Imamate.
