The investigation andcomparison of visual memory in hearing girl studentsand hearing impaired at 11 to 18 years in Tehran

Memory is a component of the learning processand it plays a vital role on the acquisition ofknowledge, skills and experience.Memoryallows in adolescents thatuses their pastexperiences,benefit from current experienceandprovide for new experiences, sothe aim ofthis study is the visual memory comparison ofhearing girl students and hearing impaired.The research design was casual.In order tofulfill the stated goals, a sample of all deaf girlstudent and hearing, 11 to 18 years that wasmiddle and high schools at 90-91 years. Thisstudy sample was 35 deaf girl students andhearing. Deaf group and hearing were selectedby purposive sampling and then they werecompared. The following questionnaires wereadministered on presents sampling: Raven IQtest (homogeneous groups), kim-karad visualmemory test (individual performances). Visualmemory scores were formed total scores of threestage kim-karad testin this study .The results of MANOVA analysis showed thatvisual memory of hearing girl students and deafhad significant differences (F(3,66)=2/74 p<0/05).visual memory of hearing girl student was betterthan deaf student.
