Investigating the barriers to the comprehensive logistics automation system in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army
This study aimed to investigate and find the obstacles to the establishment of a comprehensive logistics automation system in the Army. In the qualitative stage, the Delphi method was used and in the quantitative stage, the descriptive survey method was used. Data collection tools in the qualitative stage were the study of documents and interviews with experts and in the quantitative stage a questionnaire. The statistical population of this study consists of commanders, senior and middle managers, staff and experts of the Deputy of Readiness and Support, Deputy of ICT of Nezaja, and Ready and Support Command. Due to statistical limitations, sampling was done non-randomly and purposefully in both stages. The results showed that 1) the weakness of the bed and communication networks with an average of 4.3 has the greatest impact among environmental barriers; 2) Implementing the Samen al-A'meh plan and changing the support structure of the center and supporting areas with an average of 4.2 has the greatest impact among organizational barriers; 3) Weakness of platforms and hardware infrastructure required to run this system with an average of 4.3 has the greatest impact among technological barriers.
