Supply Chain and Business Strategy Configuration Pattern and Its Relationship with Organizational Sustainability Performance (Case Study: Iran Food Industries)
In this study, in order to improve the performance of the organization, the various combinations of supply chain and business strategies of companies in the field of food industry in Iran, using configuration theory and inductive approach, are examined. This research is exploratory in terms of purpose, based on the result, in the field of basic research, and in terms of nature and method, it is descriptive-correlation.
Sampling was done randomly among food industry companies and a questionnaire was prepared and distributed after examining the types of structural, diagnostic and convergent validity and combined reliability. In data analysis for clustering, an intelligent meta-heuristic process of differential evolution has been used and to identify the characteristics of the cluster and create its specific constructs, analysis of variance and grouping tests of Tukey communities have been used.
3 different groups were identified with different combinations of supply chain strategy and business. The first combination is supply chain accountability strategy and leading business strategy; the second combination is pure supply chain strategy and business analyst strategy and the third combination includes supply chain formulation strategy and business response strategy.
The first compound has led to a more stable performance than other compounds in Iranian food companies.
