Management in Unisex Universities as a Sample of Islamic University: Challenges and Solutions
While there are more than ten girls' unisex universities in Iran, the pathology of this type of university has not been studied yet. However, considering the valuable role and position of women in society and sensitivity to the performance of girls' unisex universities, identifying and removing obstacles to move towards the lofty goals that are important for this type of universities. This study seeks to assess the role of girls' unisex universities as a symbol of the Islamic University in the higher education system.
For this purpose, while reviewing the research literature, the upstream documents that dealt with this field were examined and the strategies and measures proposed in these documents were extracted. Also, in this study, in order to identify the main harms and strategies and factors affecting the effective measures of girls' unisex universities, in-depth exploratory interviews were conducted with 22 experts and experts in related fields.
After identifying and analyzing the propositions, they were labeled with the method of content analysis, which by examining and classifying them, 393 basic themes, 49 organizing themes and four comprehensive themes were labeled.
Research findings include harms and solutions in the fields of management, education, research-technology and culture-students.
