Identifying the Dimensions of Organizational Resilience for Non-Profit Universities
Universities and non-profit institutions are in competitive conditions and environmental risks; they should pay more attention to organizational resilience. The aim of the current research is to identify the dimensions of organizational resilience in non-profit universities.
The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection, which was done with a qualitative approach. The research community was experts familiar with the research topic and active in non-profit universities of Qom province, 18 people were selected by judgmental method and with the criterion of theoretical data saturation. Thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data obtained from semi-structured interviews.
Based on the findings of the data analysis, in total, 30 indicators were identified for the resilience of non-profit universities, which were placed in five categories, which are financial resilience, strategic resilience, cultural resilience, learning resilience, and structure resilience.
Considering that non-profit universities are in a competitive environment, paying attention to the identified five dimensions and their improvement plays a role in the resilience of these universities. These dimensions can be a model for improving the organizational resilience of non-profit universities.
