Investigating the mediating role of organizational commitment in the impact of challenging stressors on job satisfaction in Ardabil Municipality employees
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the impact of challenging stressors on job satisfaction with the mediating role of organizational commitment in Ardabil Municipality. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the research consists of 600 contract employees of Ardabil Municipality, and the sample size is 185 people based on Homan's method. In this research, due to the possibility of dropping and non-return of the questionnaires, the sample size was 200 people. Sampling method It was also a simple relative randomness (partition from each region). To collect information from standard questionnaires of challenging stressors based on the theory of Colequote (2010) with 3 components; Lack of time, complexity, and responsibility. Minnesota job satisfaction variable based on Homan (2012) with six dimensions; Payment system, job type, advancement opportunities, organizational climate, leadership style, and physical conditions, as well as organizational commitment variable based on Balfour and Kessler (1996) with three dimensions; Exchange commitment, attachment commitment and replication commitment have been used. To analyze the research hypotheses, the structural equation model was used using Amos software. The findings of the research show that the variable of organizational commitment plays a mediating role in the impact of challenging stressors on job satisfaction.
