The Role of Work Engagement and Spirituality in Predicting job Adjustment of Female Primary School Teachers

Considering the long-term consequences of jobincompatibility and the importance of work engagement andspirituality in the performance of human resources, the presentstudy was conducted with the aim of investigating the role ofwork engagement and spirituality in predicting jobcompatibility of female primary school teachers. The current research was descriptiveanalytical. The population of the current research was all thefemale elementary school teachers of Do Baharestan district inthe academic year of 2022-2023, based on the Morgan table,270 people were selected by available sampling method, andaccording to the questionnaires of Salvanava et al.'s (2001),spiritual attitude of Shahidi and Farajnia ( 1391) and the jobcompatibility of Porkebirian (1386). Data analysis was donewith Pearson correlation test and multiple regression usingSPSS version 22 software. The results showed that there was a direct relationshipbetween job enthusiasm (r=0.518) and spirituality (r=0.347)with job adaptation of female teachers (p<0.01). Also, thecomponents of work engagement and spirituality had 22%ability to predict job adaptation of female teachers. It is necessary for managers and healthprofessionals to pay attention to job enthusiasm andspirituality in order to improve the job adaptability of theirpersonnel.
