Two Myths: Freydoun and Indra

Abstract:
The long-lasting relations between two great nations of Aryan blood, namely, Iran and India is so strongly tied together that, by observing historical, political and cultural processes, one could claim that: The British first took India to maintain their presence in Iran.To start with, a short mention is first made of mythology and then of individual and collective dreams. Every dream is an individual myth, but the myth is the collective dream of a community.References on Indian myths will be presented to the readers in another section of the paper. The mythical bond of Aryan race and the gods of India shows that Aryans will be the only heir of the earth, because Indra the god of gods said: I gave the earth to "Arya". This subject is discussed in aseparate section of this article. To make the study of Indra and Thraitauna possible, I had to study Zahak (Azhi Dahaka) or Vrtra first.Out of three notions of presence in human civilization, dragon killing (which won the title of “Vrtr gana” and studying dragon killing tools, more attention is paid to the first two notions.References to “Vedas”, Shahnameh and suitable evidences were a great help to the author. The author also found information that could categorize Eblis, Div and Azhi Dahaka in three separate semantic areas which can form a basis for further studies by either the author or others.Since Vrtra and Azhi Dahaka come to be alien elements, one could conclude that existence is based on pure truth. Vice and badness are not in the essence of existence and are just accidental. So, let’s build the human life on the basis of pure goodness.
