Effects of bBermuda grass (Cynodon dactylonis L.) residuals effects on some morphological attributes and agronomic yield of characters of bread wheat

Abstract:
This study was conducted to For evaluateion the effects of residuals, obtained from different parts of bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylonis L.), residuals effects on yield and yield components of wheat. Therefore,, Aa factorial experiment was conducted inwith three replications was carried out at Islamic Azad University…, Tabriz Branch in 008. RDifferent parts’ residuals of various parts of bermuda grass (leaf, shoot, root and whole plant) were collected and added residuals to the experimental soil in at five levels of (0, 0, 60, 80, and 00 g/.m) were studied. The rResults showed that residuals of different parts of bermuda grass different parts residuals decreased plant height, number of fertile tillers number, number of leavesf and seeds number, spike length, weight of 00 seedskernal weight and biomass of wheat. By aIncreasing dding higher residuals into the soil, more losses on all plant characteristics will occur, decreased all attributes more. For example, Increasing negative effects of 00g of bermuda grass residuals mixed with the soil resulted in decreasinged plant height, leaf number, fertile tiller numbers, spike and peduncle length, seed numbers, 00 kernal weight and biomass as by 56.7, 70.6, 0., 6.8,. 7, 75.6,. , and 6.9 %, in comparison e with the control, respectively. Yield loss of Decrease in wheat yield was ranging from 7% to 80.5% and mainly depends depended on the amount of residuals levelsaddeded to the soil. However, tThe maximum negative effects on wheat plants were observed for highest decreasing effects belong to root residuals. With regardsSince wheat is essentially a strategic crop throught the world, even very small reduction of wheat production in the field due to residuals of b ermuda grass or other weeds must be taken into consideration.to importance of wheat production as strategic product, minor decreasing in wheat yield by Bermuda grass or other weeds must be regarded.
