Meaning of Life in Divorce Volunteer Couples

The goal of this study was exploration in meaning of life in divorce volunteer couples.
This was a qualitative study using semi-structured deep interview with 10 spouses (10 husbands and 10 wives) were volunteer for divorce. They were selected by purposeful sampling. Sampling was continued till saturation occurred in participants responses. Couples at first lonely and then by each other were interviewed. The time of individual interviews was about 60 and for common interviews 30 minutes.
Grounded theory was used to analyze the data that obtained from interviews. To analysis, open, axial and selective coding was used.
Findings: Data analysis addressed the content of meaning of life, marriage meaning and marital meaning among couples.
Findings revealed congruency in meaning, cooperative in making the common mean and ability in negotiation lead to satisfaction in couples
