The study is conducted to assess effective factors leads not to theft reporting by people

This survey is conducted to assess effective factors influencing not reporting theft to police( in NAJA Staff and peoples point of view).
This research is carried out via a sample of 694 persons in NAJA STAFF. The questionnaire is designed by the researched and data is analyzed by inferential statistics and descriptive method.
Findings: The result indicate that 57/9 of the respondents were not victim of theft. From citizens point of view, disappointment (3/48 is the main factor of not reporting. And delay informing the theft ( 2/24) is the last one.
According to staffs sense of disappointment because of low weakness in confronting the thief (2/16) is the most important factor and personal following for detection properties without informing police or compromising (2/16%) is the last factor of not reporting. Other findings show that population variables such as age, sex, education, job and not theft report. But there is a significant relationship between the kind of theft and not report of theft. The most number of theft report belongs to auto theft (95/13%) and the least one belongs to pocket-picking( 41/67%).
Discussions and The study findings indicate that population variables do not have any significant relationship in not reporting of theft, so the reason should be searched in some other factors having more relationship with the related organizations. Besides, the kind of the theft . It seems as the value of theft properties and probability of detection the people become more willing to report.
