Intellectuals Pathology in Iran from the perspective of Ayatollah Khamenei

Abstract:
Intellectualism in contemporary Iran is one of the most influential intellectual currents that has sparked debate and controversy due to the increasing contact of Iranian society with modernity. But understanding the kind of perception and inference of one of the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran is important in identifying the damage points and some failures of this spectrum. This article seeks to address the views of the Supreme Leader on intellectual pathology in Iran from the point of view of Ayatollah Khamenei. To achieve this, thematic analysis method has been used with the help of MAXQDA software. The findings of this paper show that in the thought of the Supreme Leader of the revolution, the true intellectual is one who does not accept progress in any way; rather, it accepts a kind of program for development that is in accordance with the national interests, the intellectual, cultural and value structure of society, but in His view intellectual was born in Iran sickly and has been damaged in three dimensions: Functional, Character (Personality and Behavioral), Insight (Relative to the West and with Religion)
