    Objective

This study aimed to investigate the predictive relationship between psychological flexibility, trust in relationships, and parenting efficacy.

    Methods and Materials:

This study employed a correlational descriptive design with a sample of 350 parents, selected based on the Morgan and Krejcie table. Standardized measures, including the Parenting Sense of Competence Scale (PSOC), the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II (AAQ-II), and the Trust Scale, were administered to assess parenting efficacy, psychological flexibility, and trust in relationships, respectively. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 27, including Pearson correlation to assess bivariate relationships and multiple linear regression to examine the combined predictive effect of psychological flexibility and trust on parenting efficacy. Assumptions of normality, linearity, and multicollinearity were confirmed before conducting regression analyses.

    Findings

The results demonstrated that psychological flexibility was significantly correlated with parenting efficacy (r = 0.54, p < 0.01), as was trust in relationships (r = 0.47, p < 0.01). Multiple regression analysis indicated that psychological flexibility (B = 0.65, p < 0.01) and trust in relationships (B = 0.48, p < 0.01) were both significant predictors of parenting efficacy, accounting for 37% of its variance (R² = 0.37, p < 0.01). Psychological flexibility exhibited a slightly stronger predictive effect than trust in relationships. These findings highlight the importance of both individual cognitive adaptability and interpersonal trust in shaping parents’ confidence in their parenting abilities.

    Conclusion

This study provides empirical support for the significant role of psychological flexibility and trust in relationships in predicting parenting efficacy. The findings suggest that interventions aimed at enhancing parents’ emotional adaptability and strengthening relational trust may contribute to improved parenting confidence. Future research should explore longitudinal effects and cultural variations in these relationships to develop targeted parenting interventions.

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of exposure therapy in enhancing life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility in adults with ADHD. This study employed a randomized controlled trial design, with 30 adults diagnosed with ADHD randomly assigned to an experimental group (n = 15) receiving eight sessions of exposure therapy or a control group (n = 15) receiving no intervention. Life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility were assessed at baseline, post-treatment, and five-month follow-up using the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (CFI), respectively. Data analysis was conducted using repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) to examine within- and between-group differences over time, with post-hoc pairwise comparisons performed using the Bonferroni adjustment. The results indicated a significant main effect of time and group, as well as a significant interaction effect between time and group for both life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility (p < 0.01). Post-hoc analyses showed that the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in both variables from baseline to post-treatment (p < 0.001), with these gains maintained at follow-up. In contrast, the control group showed no significant changes over time. The findings suggest that exposure therapy effectively enhances life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility in adults with ADHD, with long-term benefits observed at follow-up. Exposure therapy appears to be a promising intervention for improving life satisfaction and cognitive flexibility in adults with ADHD. By reducing avoidance behaviors and promoting adaptive cognitive responses, this approach may help individuals with ADHD develop greater emotional and cognitive adaptability. The sustained benefits observed at follow-up suggest that exposure therapy may provide long-lasting improvements in quality of life for this population.

his study explores healthcare providers' perspectives on the implementation of patient-centered care (PCC) models in hospitals. It aims to identify key themes related to understanding, experiences, perceived benefits, and challenges associated with PCC to inform better practices and policies.A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing semi-structured interviews to collect data from 21 healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, in various hospitals. Participants were selected through purposive sampling to ensure diverse perspectives. Data collection continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. The interview data were transcribed and analyzed using NVivo software, following a thematic analysis approach to identify and refine key themes. The analysis revealed four main themes: understanding of PCC, experiences with implementation, perceived benefits, and challenges faced. Providers described PCC as holistic, individualized care requiring effective communication and cultural competence. Implementation experiences highlighted the importance of planning, resource allocation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and feedback mechanisms. Benefits of PCC included improved patient satisfaction and outcomes, better work environments, efficiency in care delivery, patient trust, and enhanced staff morale. Challenges encompassed resistance to change, resource limitations, training and support deficiencies, interpersonal dynamics, and systemic barriers. The study underscores the critical role of comprehensive training, effective communication, and adequate resources in implementing PCC. Despite significant challenges, the benefits of PCC for patients and providers are evident. Addressing implementation barriers through continuous education, supportive policies, and robust feedback mechanisms can enhance the adoption and sustainability of PCC models. Future research should focus on expanding sample diversity, quantitative measures, and the impact of technology on PCC.

    Objective

This study aims to explore the role of sports in promoting social inclusion and health within marginalized communities.

    Methods and Materials:

A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing semi-structured interviews to gather in-depth insights from participants. Individuals from various marginalized communities, including ethnic minorities, low-income groups, and those with disabilities, were purposefully sampled. Data collection continued until theoretical saturation was achieved, with interviews being transcribed verbatim and analyzed using NVivo software. A thematic analysis approach was used to identify and categorize recurring themes and patterns in the data.

    Results

The study identified three main themes: social inclusion, health and well-being, and personal development and growth. Participants reported that sports participation significantly enhanced their social networks, community cohesion, and broke down social barriers, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment. Physical health benefits included improved fitness and reduced chronic diseases, while mental health improvements encompassed stress relief, anxiety reduction, and mood enhancement. Sports also facilitated personal development by fostering leadership skills, teamwork, and providing educational and career opportunities.

    Conclusion

Sports play a crucial role in promoting social inclusion and health within marginalized communities. The findings underscore the multifaceted benefits of sports participation, including enhanced social connections, improved physical and mental health, and personal empowerment. The study suggests that increasing access to inclusive sports programs and addressing barriers to participation can further amplify these benefits.

This study aims to explore the implications of AI in elderly care, specifically its impact on enhancing independence and social interaction among the elderly. Additionally, it seeks to identify and analyze the ethical and privacy concerns, technological challenges, and the potential for personalization and customization in AI applications in elderly care settings.Employing a qualitative research design, this study collected data through semi-structured interviews with a purposively sampled cohort of 17 participants, including healthcare professionals specializing in geriatric care, caregivers using AI tools, and elderly individuals interacting with AI technologies. Thematic analysis was utilized to identify and interpret patterns within the data, leading to the delineation of five main themes and their respective categories and concepts. The analysis revealed five major themes: Impact on Independence, Enhancements in Social Interaction, Ethical and Privacy Concerns, Technological Challenges and Solutions, and Personalization and Customization in AI. Each theme encompasses several categoriesdetailing specific implications of AI in elderly care, from supporting physical and cognitive autonomy to addressing concerns over data security and the potential for technology-driven bias.AI holds significant promise for improving elderly care by supporting independence and facilitating social interactions, yet its integration must be approached with caution to address ethical and privacy concerns. The successful implementation of AI in elderly care requires a balanced, human-centric approach that leverages technological advancements while ensuring they align with the needs and values of the elderly population.
