Study of vegetation and Land use and measurement of its changes is one of the requirements of basic management of natural ecosystems. The Forests, Rangelands and Watershed Management Organization of Iran, in 2004 prepared vegetation Map of the whole country with a scale of 1: 250,000. This map was updated in 2021 using Sentinel 2 satellite images from 2018, along with field sampling, which was unveiled during the Natural Resources Week in 2021. In This map, 24 natural phenomena are separated from each other and specified at the national level.
