Scientific Jihad has been repeatedly emphasized in Imam Khamenei's statements; If one of the axes of the statement of the second step of the revolution is scientific jihad. Considering the importance of the topic, this research was done with the aim of explaining dimensions and components of scientific jihad in the thought of Imam Khamenei. The type of research is qualitative. To analyze the data, the theme analysis method was used and 300 basic themes, 79 organizing themes and 19 comprehensive themes were extracted. Based on the findings of the research, the basics of scientific jihad in Imam Khamenei's thought include: the value of science, honoring science and teacher in Islam, science combined with spirituality, moral and justice-oriented science, transcendental education and useful and applied science; Its requirements include: having a civilization-building scientific perspective, the production of science and continuous, fast-paced and civilization-building scientific jihad, the need for hope and hope, innovation and scientific creativity, the need for deep transformation in the education system, the need for deep transformation in the higher education system, research axis with the approach of solving the country's problems, elitism, honoring and supporting the elites, attracting the elites, interaction and synergy between science and industry and the knowledge-based economy and its results include: dignity and authority, all-round progress, solving the country's problems, self-sufficiency and lack of Affiliation is a bright future and gaining scientific authority in the world. Based on the results of the research, Imam Khamenei emphasized continuous, rapid and civilizing scientific jihad as a public duty and demand, to produce useful, practical, creative and innovative science, along with sublime education, spirituality, ethics and justice, as one of the The pillars of modern Islamic civilization and the driving engine of the country are emphasized in order to solve the country's problems and all-round progress, with the aim of breaking the current boundaries of knowledge and gaining scientific authority in the world.
