This Evaluation of fuzzy networks with imprecise data is crucial. In this article, we propose fuzzy two-stage network models based on the structure of central resource allocation models. Firstly, we obtain the target for the fuzzy decision-making units in the two-stage network by using central resource allocation models, with a maximum of one two-phase model in each stage of the network. Then, we determine the overall target for the network. The probability function approach is used in the two-stage fuzzy network models to rephrase the proposed models and find the target. In conclusion, we calculate the target for Iranian airlines using fuzzy data and the proposed model.

One of the special cases of type-2 fuzzy sets are the interval type-2 fuzzy sets, which are less complicated and easier to understand than T2FSs. In this study, we explore the interval type-2 fuzzy linear programming problem with the resources vector that have imprecision of the vagueness type. These types of vagueness are expressed via membership functions. First, we review the three available methods, including the Figueroa and Sarani methods. Then, using the three ideas of Verdegay, Werners, and Guu and Wu for solving fuzzy linear programming problems with vagueness in the resources vector, we propose three new methods for solving interval type-2 fuzzy linear programming problems with vagueness in the resources vector. Finally, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed methods by solving an example and comparing the results obtained with each other and with those of previous methods.

The application of fuzzy linear programming and optimization techniques has a rich history in various domains. In recent years, the rise in employee terminations within large companies has underscored the significance of employee performance and its impact on organizational progress. To address this issue, it becomes crucial to determine the appropriate number of employees required to effectively execute company projects, considering employee performance and organizational needs. Additionally, it is essential to identify an optimal employee count as a benchmark prior to hiring. This optimal value can be achieved through the utilization of optimization methodologies, such as fuzzy linear programming. This research paper presents a solution to the employee hiring problem in a factory by utilizing the fuzzy linear programming method. The findings reveal that increasing the number of hires does not necessarily correlate with enhanced performance. The findings of this paper enable organizations to make informed decisions regarding employee recruitment and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Linear programming is one of the most practical decision-making models in real world problems. Sometimes the values of the coefficients of the decision-making problem are not clearly clear and may include ambiguities. This is where the use of fuzzy set theory is highly regarded by researchers. Fuzzy linear programming is a model of optimization problem in which the objective function and constraints of linear functions include ambiguous parameters and these ambiguities are modeled with fuzzy concepts. In fuzzy linear programming problems and in terms of the position of the ambiguities in the problem, different states are created that different solutions are presented for each of these states. In this research, the introduction of fuzzy linear programming, types of ambiguities in the problem in fuzzy environment and different categories of fuzzy linear programming problems based on the type of ambiguity in these types of problems and generally the problems of flexible fuzzy linear programming are investigated. Ambiguities in these types of issues are vagueness type and are expressed by membership functions. In these types of ambiguity problems in the target function, fuzzy cost coefficients, fuzzy constraint matrix and fuzzy resource vector or combining these states together, each of these ambiguities creates different states that are expressed and the existing solving methods for each state are examined and several numerical examples are given for better understanding.

In this study, we discussed a fuzzy programming approach to bi-level linear programming problems and their application. Bi-level linear programming is characterized as mathematical programming to solve decentralized problems with two decision-makers in the hierarchal organization. They become more important for the contemporary decentralized organization where each unit seeks to optimize its own objective. In addition to this, we have considered Bi-Level Linear Programming (BLPP) and applied the Fuzzy Mathematical Programming (FMP) approach to get the solution of the system. We have suggested the FMP method for the minimization of the objectives in terms of the linear membership functions. FMP is a supervised search procedure (supervised by the upper Decision Maker (DM)). The upper-level decision-maker provides the preferred values of decision variables under his control (to enable the lower level DM to search for his optimum in a wider feasible space) and the bounds of his objective function (to direct the lower level DM to search for his solutions in the right direction).

Recently, Srinivasan [On solving fuzzy linear fractional programming inmaterial aspects, Materials Today: Proceedings, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.matpr.2019.04.209] proposed a method to solve fractional linear programmingproblem under fuzzy environment based on ranking and decompositionmethods. Srinivasan also claimed that the proposed method solved fractionallinear programming problem with inequality and equality constraints. In thisnote, we point out that the paper entitled above suffers from certainmathematical mistakes for solving these problems. Hence, the mentionedmethod and example are not valid. Further the exact method is stated and solvedthe problem.

Fuzzy linear programming problem occur in many elds such as mathematical modeling, Control theory and Management sciences, etc. In this paper we focus on a kind of Linear Programming with fuzzy numbers and variables namely Fully Fuzzy Linear Programming (FFLP) problem, in which the constraints are in inequality forms. Then a new method is proposed to ne the fuzzy solution for solving (FFLP). Numerical examples are providing to illustrate the method.
