In order to manage a project with integrity, a cohesive communication is needed between its various sections; possible risks, identification of stakeholders, providing the necessary resources on time and managing their availability, focusing on the approved budget and satisfactory quality the project can be successfully done. In the recent year BIM has as new aspects to engineering and architecture, and has become an accepted platform for planning and executing construction projects and contributed to integration of various fields and. also, project management standards, such as PMBOK, have come to aid construction managers. Through the basic capacities of BIM, and questionnaires according to aspects of PMBOK, the present study tries to identify the superior effects of BIM on project management. Moreover, it seeks to recognize the most significant aspects of BIM application on project management. by employing the FANP-AVIKOR decision making method to prioritize the parameters of the collected results, the study’s conclusion will indicate that almost all of PMBOK aspects equally benefit from using BIM; in addition, it will show that 3D BIM capacities, including clash detection, plan correction, are superior in comparison with 6D BIM and 7D BIM capacities. Keywords: Building Information Modeling (BIM), PMBOK Areas of Knowledge, Triangular Fuzzy Number, Analytic Hierarchy Process (ANP), VIKOR

In this paper, we studied fuzzy linear fractional programming (FLFP) problems with trapezoidal fuzzy numbers where the objective functions are fuzzy numbers and the constraints are real numbers. In this study, in order to obtain the fuzzy optimal solution with unrestricted variables and parameters, a new efficient method for FLFP problem has been proposed. These proposed methods are based on crisp linear fractional programming and newly transformation technique is also used. A computational procedure has been presented to obtain an optimal solution. To show the efficiency of our proposed method a real life example has been illustrated. Keywords: Triangular fuzzy number, linear fractional programming problem, Multi Objective Programming, ranking function

Supply chain management (SCM) is an important subject in competitive economics. A supply chain includes all activities related to the flow of goods from the raw material through to the customer, as well as information flow. Determination of appropriate suppliers in SCM is very significant. Therefore, a problem is defined, named the supplier selection, to evaluate each supplier. Supplier selection is a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. In MCDM problems there are two important issues: the method that should be selected and the criteria. A decision maker needs to use one of the MCDM methods to solve a problem. In this paper, a multi-objective model is proposed for the supplier selection problem. Objective functions, such as minimization of cost, and maximization of quality level and on-time delivery are considered criteria in this model. Since the parameters of the model cannot be predicted precisely, the fuzzy theory is used. Fuzzy set theory has been widely used to solve many complex problems. This theory has considered effective methods to manage both vagueness and uncertainty in different problems. In our proposed model, the parameters of objective functions, the demand constraint and all decision variables are defined as triangular fuzzy numbers. This type of problem, in which all parameters and variables are defined as fuzzy numbers, is called a fully fuzzy problem. So, our proposed model is a multi-objective fully fuzzy linear programming (MOFFLP) problem, and one of the most difficult to solve. In this study, for solving this MOFFLP problem, first a method is used which finds the fuzzy optimal solution of FFLP problems. This method has proved its efficiency in several problems and we have applied it to the supplier selection problem. In the next stage, a fuzzy programming technique, which is a common method used for solving multi-objective decision making (MODM) problems, is considered. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the modeling idea and this example is solved step-by-step.Keywords: Supplier selection problem, Triangular fuzzy number, Fully fuzzy problem, Fuzzy programming technique -
Decision making about outsourcing or insourcing of manufacturing activities is a type of multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problem, which requires considering quantitative and qualitative factors as evaluation criteria simultaneously. Therefore, a suitable MCDM method can be useful in this area as it can consider the interactions among quantitative and qualitative criteria. The analytic network process (ANP) is a relatively new MCDM method which can deal with different kinds of interactions systematically. Moreover, the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method is able to convert the relations between cause and effect of criteria into a visual structural model as well as handling the inner dependences within a set of criteria. However both ANP method and DEMATEL techniques in their original forms are incapable of capturing the uncertainty during value judgment elicitation. To overcome this problem, here, a new and effective model is proposed based on combining fuzzy ANP and fuzzy DEMATEL for decision making about outsourcing or insourcing of manufacturing activities in uncertain conditions. Data from a case study is used to illustrate the usefulness and applicably of the proposed method. Keywords: Outsourcing, Triangular fuzzy number, fuzzy ANP, fuzzy DEMATEL
