The statistical and synoptic analysis on widespread hailstorm events in northwest of Iran

Hail is one of the destructive atmospheric phenomenons that are caused wide destruction in different section economic including agriculture. The target of this research is recognition the synoptic patterns and determine the quantitative dynamic thresholds such as relative vorticity، divergence and convergence of humidity، vertical motion and also thermodynamic quantities such as specific humidity and streamline from 48 hours before the storm begin to start until it reaches to peak.. For synoptic analysis of hailstorm the daily map of 4 may 1997 were drawn from 48 hours before storm generation.
