The comparison of sunrise and sunset images in " Shah-nameh" and " Khosro and shirin"

Abstract:
In the process of changing the word from normal level info literal and artistic level, poetic images or imaginary visions play an undeniable role.Any poet’s imagination take roots in his or his or her personality and outside or inside way of living which appear consciously or unconsciously in his or her poems.On of the most outstanding backgrounds or basis of using images or visions is the description of the nature. In using various and colorful descriptions of the nature in Persian literature, the sceneries of sunrise and sunset have got a luminous shinning. The main goal of the present thesis is to survey the images of sunrise and sunset in two of- the outstanding works of the Persian literature i.e. “Shahnameh” and “Khosro and Shirin”. Ferdosi and Nezami have created various and colorful images of describing coming morning and nights that thinking about them makes the reader familiar with two outstanding poets and their poems literal value. In this survey, images have been researched from different aspects; the way of using colors, aristocracy and military elements and also elements taken by nature.
