The effect of modern information and communication technology (ICT) on second grade of high school students in physics course

Abstract:
The present study aims the effect of modern information and communication technology (ICT) on second grade of high school students in physics coursethat was done with Using a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test, control and experimental groups. The statistical population consists of all pre-university students in sari in academic year1393- 94. Statistical sample of this study includes 60 students that have been using random sampling method, were grouped in four classes. Teacher-made test questions was performed to collect data on the pre-test and post-test as the final exam. Data were analyzed by using SPSS software and statistical analysis (T-independent and T-dependent). The results showed that the use of educational software has impact in academic achievement of students in physics course and there is a difference between the uses of educational software and traditional methods on the academic achievement of students.
