Abstract:
According to the impact of industrial implementation, from local economy’s perspective, on population, urban developments, texture changes of countryside, social and physical disruptions as well as changes in infrastructures, facilities and pattern of services provision, industrial locating for industrial establishment could be considered as one of the most important and pivotal discussions in industrial development. Although Industrial Revolution improved the quality of human life, it had adverse effects on the environment with its rapid expansion. Making decision for industrial locating, especially for pollutants, is significantly influenced by environmental factors in which their ignorance will bring both additional environmental problems and an increase in costs. Thus, applying Multiple Attribute Decision-making methods for consideration of these qualitative criteria could be extremely effective. In this paper, a framework along with proposed criteria for locating pollutions by the name of Green Facility Location Selection (GFLS) has been presented.
