Author(s):
Abstract:
The problem of the rationality of science requires a basis on which the concept of rationality is provided to be served as a framework to explain the rationality of science enterprise. In this paper, using a conception of means-ends rationality we show how it is possible to prepare such a basis. To see the potentiality of means-ends rationality, we, for an example, place the Laudans models of scientific rationality into the framework of this conception of rationality, by doing so we see the advancement of his models in the light of the kinds of this conception
