Women's Sense of Security in Urban Parks with an emphasis on environmental (physical) and social indicators (Case Study: City of Ilam)

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to evaluate the sense of security of women in Ilam city parks with an emphasis on environmental (physical) and social indicators. The utilized research method is analytical and survey, the required data through documentary sources and field data collection using SPSS software and Excel and Pearson tests were conducted using multiple regression method. The population studied all citizens (women) in Ilam, among which 350 persons were selected using Cochran formula and based on quota sampling. this study is to provide effective analytical model in 5 level of environmental security measures: monitoring, input and output, control ball pen, management and maintenance and physical security; and in social indices factors included the Abnormal control and social monitoring as well as five control variables, population density, familiar space, images, space and interaction. To define the criteria and sub-criteria addressed in the model is as library and archival studies were used. Regression analysis showed that social control and mentoring the physical properties within parks are effective indices in women sense of security up to 82 percent.
