Termizi as a critic of sciences of his era criticized the goal and motives of scholars and the cultural and social function of that sciences and scholars and their methods and subjects. His critique includes traditionists, ascetics, mystics, jurists and theologians. Thus he paved ground to lay down the ideal schema of science and religion.
