Curriculum and critical thinking: The study of Postgraduate student's experiences

Abstract:
The purpose of research is study of graduate students experiences regarding to relation of critical thinking and curriculum. The approach of study is qualitative research approach and methodology is phenomenography. Graduate students in Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (University of Kurdistan) participated in interviews. Participants were selected using typical sampling and data collection is continued until the data reaches saturation. Semi-structured interviews are the primary source of data collection in this study. Data were analyzed using three levels of open, axial, and pattern coding. The second step was to draw the internal and external horizon and eventually results were obtained outcome space of research. The results of this research showed five descriptive categories that include: the nature of critical thinking, teaching critical thinking, character education and training of critical thinking, the results of teaching of critical thinking and the elements of critical curriculum, and how to teaching critical thinking.
