Ergonomics Impact on Staff Productivity

Aim and Organizational improvement and productivity requires comprehensive planning efforts by human resources managers. The main purpose of our study was to evaluate the impact of ergonomics on human resource productivity between education department staff of area 1 Shiraz.
In this descriptive study, research design was field survey and data were collected using a standard questionnaire included of three parts: ergonomics, environmental and workplace health centers, human resource productivity. The sample size was gained based on the statistical population and randomly selected proportional (n= 100). In this research, data analyzed in two levels: descriptive and perceptive. Frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation are used in descriptive level. Regression model and Pearson correlation index are used in perceptive level. SPSS was used as software.
Findings: The findings showed a significant relationship between ergonomics and human resources productivity in the department of education area1 Shiraz. There was no significant relationship between the weather conditions and the freedom to work with human resources productivity. Also there was a significant relationship between job feedback as well as overtime with productivity of human resources.
The effects of ergonomic aspects in human resource productivity is important and should not be neglected. Also it’s need to apply each of the ergonomics dimensions correctly and effectively, proportional to the activity of employees, in order to increasing of human resources productivity.
