Ergonomics Impact on Organizational Health

Aim and Organizational Health is defined as an organization’s ability to function effectively, to cope adequately, to change appropriately, and to grow from within. The main purpose of our study was to evaluate the impact of ergonomics on organizational health between education department staff of area1 Shiraz.
In this descriptive study, research design was field survey and data were collected using a standard questionnaire included of three parts: ergonomics, environmental and workplace health centers, human resource productivity. The sample size was gained based on the statistical population and randomly selected proportional (n=100). In this research, data analyzed in two levels: descriptive and perceptive. Frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation are used in descriptive level. Regression model and Pearson correlation index are used in perceptive level. SPSS was used as software.
Findings: The findings showed a significant relationship between ergonomics and organizational health in the department of education area1 Shiraz. There was no significant relationship between the weather conditions as well as overtime with organizational health. Also there was a significant relationship between freedom to work as well as job feedback with organizational health.
Implementation of ergonomics will improve the critical dimensions of organizational health that are statistically correlated with increased performance and productivity. The results are measurable and lead to Sustained Systemic Success.
