Essential Skills in a Healthy Social Interaction based on Surah Al-Qasas with an Emphasis on the Role of the National Media

The present article introduces skills of healthy interaction based on verses of Surah Al-Qasas, using a media approach and aiming to attain social health. According to teachings of the Qur'an, humans should communicate well with each other and always take advantage of communication skills, so that they can live a good life and stay away from mental tensions and social conflicts. A healthy and influential interaction takes place whenever there is no room for misunderstanding and it accompanies openness, empathy, supportiveness, and positivism. As a result, feelings, beliefs, and thoughts are transferred between people, and individual and society's growth is guaranteed. The findings of this research show that in order for a healthy interaction to happen, two types of skills should be attained. First are the preliminary skills which are required before a relationship starts, such as a proper beginning, creating trust, openness in the relationship, a sense of similarity to and equality with the audience, and resolving doubts and accusations. Second are content skills which should be considered during a relationship, like empathy, listening well, rhetoric, high self-confidence in the relationship, and taking advantage of body language, preaching and goodwill.
