The Historical Course of the Opinions of the Commentators on the Concept of "Qavamoun" in Jesus 34. Surah Nisa

The term "Qavamoun" in verse 34 of the Sura Nisaa is one of the most challenging Qur'anic words. Commenting on this term has been expressed by many commentators in the course of history. The present article examines the historical evolution of the opinions of the commentators and the factors that led to their emergence from the first century AD. The results of this research show that since in the first centuries in the culture of the people, man was recognized as superior and with special privileges, in most interpretations of the twelfth century, the term "Qavam" was used to mean virtue and domination And the domination of the man on the woman is interpreted and interpreted as the reason why male superiority on women in wisdom and faith on the one hand and in the affirmation of man and woman on the other hand, but since the twelfth century, with the increasing role of women in society, The economic, social and scientific aspects of Qavamoon have come to mean various meanings such as brokerage, supervision, management, support, guardianship, good deeds, and the prohibition of man's vice versa. There is no doubt that the scientific, cultural and social development of women has been very influential in the emergence of this interpretive approach.
