The Role of Job Stress, Job Burnout and Mindfulness in Predicting Job Satisfaction of NAJA Personnel

Abstract
It is very important to pay attention to police employees' job satisfaction due to widespread social and organizational communications. This study aimed to examine the role of job stress, job burnout and mindfulness on predicting job satisfaction in police personnel ofLorestan province.This was a cross sectional study.In this study, 300 police personnel ofLorestan province in summer 2015 were selected based on convenient sampling method.Data were collected using a demographic questionnaire, Police Forcejob satisfaction, and five-sided mindfulness questionnaire, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and short form Police Stress Scale (IPSS-A). To analyze the data, descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, percent, frequency percentage and inferential statistics such as Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression were used bySPSS 20.Results showed that job satisfaction has asignificant inverse relationship with job stress and burnout and a significant positive correlation withmindfulness (P < 0.001). The results of the regression analysis showed that the frequency of job stress, intensity of job stress, job burnoutintensity and mindfulness can predict job satisfaction (P < 0.001).Job stress, burnout and mindfulness play a role in predicting job satisfaction of police personnel of Lorestanprovince.So, to improve the job satisfaction of the police force, it will be useful to consider the variables during future research and clinical trials aimingto design appropriate interventions and efforts to promote quality.
