Body image and depression in women

 Body image is a concept that clinical practitioners has paid attention to it in recent decades. This concept has pathological and nonpathological aspects and we can`t separate these aspects from values and socio – cultural ideals. Therefore body image is a psycho-bio-social concept that men and women have it but in women this has a special place and therefore has some special psychological domains. One of the consequence of negative body image in women is depression, but it means that body image and depression have a relationship but it isn`t necessarily one-sided and straight  .This study has paid attention to this relation and making clear this relation.
