A Comparative Study of the Approach of the Safavid Government and the Islamic Revolution to the Doctrine of Mahdism with the Emphasis on the Legitimacy of the Role of the Jurists and the Grounds for the Appearance
Despite the many similarities in the comparative study of the Safavid state and the Islamic Revolution, there are fundamental differences in the two independent Shiite governments in Iran. These differences are in different areas. One of the main differences is between the Safavid view and that of Islamic Revolution to the doctrine of Mahdism, which can be discussed in issues such as the divine and religious legitimacy of the government, the role of scholars and jurists, and the groundwork for the Appearance. The present study seeks to compare the type of attention paid to them in these two Shiite governments. This issue has been studied through the library method and analytical-descriptive approach.
