Effect of Ethical Intelligence on Professional Ethics of Managers with an Emphasis on the Role of Gender Moderator Among Female Managers

Abstract:
Introduction

Having ethical intelligence and keeping it in line with professional ethics in the management profession, and especially education is one of the key and important factors. Ethical intelligence helps school principals to plan more appropriately to enhance professional ethics in school staff. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ethical intelligence on professional ethics of managers with an emphasis on the role of gender moderator among female managers.

Method

In terms of quantitative nature, amount and control of non-test variables, the purpose of applied research and in terms of Data collection is a descriptive-survey method of correlation analysis. The statistical population of this study is male and female high school principals of secondary school in Isfahan, which has a total of 84 people and 50 of them were sampled.This study, Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability coefficients were used to determine the reliability of the test. Cronbach's alpha coefficients and composite reliability coefficients of all variables were higher than (0.07). The main data gathering tool was ethical intelligence and professional ethics questionnaires, whose reliability was estimated in all sections.Structural equation model was used to analyze gathered data by SPSS16 and Smart PLS software.

Results

This study, gender adjustment, dependent variable and ethical intelligence and professional ethics, independent variable were reported. The significance of the research hypotheses was higher than 1.96, so the research hypotheses were confirmed. Also, the overall fitting of the conceptual model of research shows a good fit, meaning that the conceptual model of research is close to real society.

Conclusion

The results showed that there was a significant Relation between the two groups of male and female managers in terms of ethical intelligence and professional ethics. Hence, having a moral intelligence and its components among individuals can significantly increase professional ethics and create brilliant results in management jobs between the two groups
