The present study has investigated the syllabic structure of the Mashhadi dialect in the form of a field design and based on the cv- phonology theory, it deals with the phonological arrangement of the consonants as well as the effect of the core vowel of the syllable on the selection of consonant clusters. The data of this study are the result of interviews with ten speakers native of Mashhad, including men and women between the ages of 60 and 80 and low literacy. In addition, researcher is a native of Mashhad. The research findings indicate that the syllabic element in the Mashhadi dialect is the core before that, a maximum of two consonants and after that, a maximum of two consonants can be placed.
