The Study of Mass Conflicts According to the Level of Media Use, Ethnicity and Deprivation (Case Study of Shahrekord County)
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ethnic conflict on attitudes toward mass conflict in Shahr-e-Kord with the topic of relative deprivation, ethnicity, and attitudes toward mass conflict. done. This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, applied study with the statistical population of males over 16 years old in Shahrekord in 2012 with a sample of 384 people (Cochran formula) selected by simple cluster random sampling. Has been. The research data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with 5-point Likert scale from completely disagree to completely agree. Face validity and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used to calculate the reliability of the questionnaire, which was greater than 0.70. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, mean, percent, frequency, standard deviation and inferential analysis of variance analysis, mean comparison test, lsd test and multivariate regression. The results showed that variables such as media use, level of ethnic belonging, level of deprivation, employment status, education status, age group, ethnic prejudice, level of law avoidance, influenced attitudes toward mass conflict.
